Introduction to camping as a Scout and learn the basic camping skills. Strongly recommended for new members who have not camped with us yet.

Travel - Scouts should meet at the campsite and be collected from the Scout Hall

Cost - £30

Who should attend? This camp is targeted at new Scouts, or Scouts who have not camped with us before and it teaches the basics which are essential for an Easter or Summer Camp. Places are often limited and priority is given to the new Scouts that haven't had the opportunity to go on one before.

Please make sure you have had dinner before arriving at the campsite

 

It is normal for all Scouts to come back to the Scout hut after the camp to help unload the trailer and put the kit away. If the tents need drying we hang them up to air and all meet up again in the evening to pack them away and tidy up as the hall is hired out on Monday mornings.
