Those Scouts wishing to take part should meet at the Scout hall at 13.00 Friday afternoon and will return Sunday afternoon.

We are running a raft building and sailing camp at Great Moor Sailing Club where we go sailing.

Friday afternoon arrive and set up

Spend Saturday practising building rafts and testing them out - a great opportunety for anyone wanting to go on the District raft race in September!

BIG BBQ dinner Saturday night

More splashing about on Sunday morning before coming home early afternoon

Cost will be £30 which includes, food, transport, campfees and rafting.

ITEMS TO REMEMBER

  • 2 additional changes of clothes, soft-shoes for sailing in (trainers) and spares set if these get wet.
  • A towel, Scout Scarf, waterproofs, sun cream.
  • Camping kit Sleeping bag, mat, wash kit, plates cutlery, chair etc.
  • If you have a wetsuit you may bring it
