Where - Kandersteg International Scout Center, Switzerland

Cost - £450

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

  • Transport by minibus and ferry/tunnel crossing (funded from our hall hire income)
  • Camping at the Scout centre in Kandersteg

  • Hiking
  • Visit a Swiss Alpine Hut
  • Visits to Ice Caves
  • Travel by train to the summit of the Jungfrau (one of the highest Alpine peaks)
  • Join in on the Swiss National Day International BBQ.
  • International Campfire
  • Cable Car and Chair Lift Rides

  • Party/ Disco at the ice rink in the village

WHO CAN GO

  • Previous experience must include having attended a basic skills camp & 1-week or longer Scout camp in the UK with our Scout troop.
  • Must have a valid individual passport

HOW TO BOOK

You can book online in the usual way followed with the appropriate payment. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis for those eligable. Bookings are confirmed with a deposit of £100 and we don't need any paperwork yet. Permission forms will be done early 2012 in case dietary/medical things change. Alternative payment options include £100 deposit to secure your place then pay £35 a month for 10 months. All payments must be in full by 14th June 2012.
